Work Wear // Work wear can be a bit of a challenge, particularly when you want to appear stylish, but also practical, professional and smart. It can be a struggle staying true to your personality whilst in the workplace, and as I've embarked into the big, bad world of work, this is something I've experienced. I'm lucky though, as most of the dresses I've collected over the years can be easily transformed for the office environment. Take this checked number from F&F for example - this old number is a solid staple, I really love the pattern, the thick texture and the over-the-knee length which is perfect for the colder, windy days.

I think the dress looks particularly good paired with my speckled coat from Oasis. This trusty coat has kept me warm over three winters now! It was such a good investment, and although it is showing signs of wear and tear, I don't think I can bear to say goodbye just yet... I maybe need to take inspiration from my previous post (click here) and invest in a new coat soon... Maybe.
