Copenhagen Fashion Week // During my time at university, I was offered a fantastic opportunity to study abroad. I’ve always loved to travel and jumped at the opportunity to study and live in a different country. I was offered a place at TEKO Fashion and Marketing College in Herning, Denmark, and was thrilled when I heard I’d be moving to Scandinavia. Some of the first things that popped into my head when I thought of the country was the fantastic murder series ‘The Killing’, delicious Danish pastries and of course, Scandi-style fashion.
One of the many things I loved about living in Denmark was the fashion. Copenhagen is a city where individual style rules and locals are not confined by ‘trends’ – they make their own – and it’s hard to miss that distinctive Nordic look we now affectionately call Scandi-style. I was in love with some of the outfits from Copenhagen Fashion Week and wanted to share a selection with you all today.
It's a cool, relaxed style that gives off simple chic and class. These guys know how to dress and encompass an entirely 'new look' of their own. It's the kind of style that you wish you had - the effortless motion of throwing on a random selection of clothes and knowing it will look stylish - and amazingly, these great danes pull it off with such ease.
