Lucerne Travel Diary // Switzerland 2018

Lucerne Switzerland Travel Diary // Over the last six months, I've been fortunate enough to travel to Lucerne, a small town in northern Switzerland, three times. In one word, it is idyllic. I've been travelling there for work and although I have not been able to be a 'proper' tourist outside of my working hours, I've still managed to explore the beautiful, historic town. I wanted to share some snapshots with you all and show off the beauty of this hidden treasure.

As you can tell from the wonderful pictures above, it's a delightful location. From historical wooden bridges, to quaint hotels and churches, Lucerne is a great destination for business and leisure travellers alike. Just make sure you bring enough money, Switzerland is known for its high prices and the average cup of coffee is around £8... thank goodness it tastes delicious! ;-) Have you ever been to Switzerland before? Let me know in the comments below.

More soon,

  1. Lucerne is so beautiful, I've been a couple of times and your gorgeous photos are making me want to go back. Thanks for sharing xxx

  2. love the architectural structure of the buildings.

  3. I hope to visit Switzerland some day! Amazing photographs.<3

  4. Never been there but with your pictures, really want to! xx

  5. I have to say, Lucerne seems like a stunning city and I'm planning to visit it myself, with a trip through Prague, Munich, and Zurich. I've been doing some research and there are so many things I want to see and do in each city. In Prague, I definitely want to explore the Old Town Square and the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Munich is famous for its beer gardens, so that's a must-visit for me. And in Zurich, I'm looking forward to walking along the lake and checking out some of the city's museums. It's going to be an exciting trip!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it! Helen x
