Jamberry Nail Wraps - An Honest Review 2016

I’ll be honest – when it comes to beauty, I’m a rubbish girl. I’m far more likely to be excited by a new fashion range or flavours of donut at Krispy Kreme, than I am about the latest beauty craze. Needless to say, I was intrigued when I was contacted by Adriane from Jamberry Nails, who offered to send me some samples to try and naturally, I jumped at the chance to review these pretty products.
Since I have the nail painting skills to rival that of a two-year old, when I heard about these easy-application nail wraps, I was definitely interested. The hassle free solution of nail wraps has opened up a new beauty realm I didn’t even know existed. So let’s get stuck in:

What is Jamberry?
Founded by three sisters, Jamberry nail wraps were created to eliminate those expensive trips to the nail salon, and give ladies the confidence to get beautiful nails by themselves. The nail wraps are made with durable materials, so smudges and streaks are never an issue, and can last for up to two weeks on fingernails and four weeks on toes. With over 300 designs to choose from, you're spoilt for choice and able to apply from the comfort of our own home.
The Application
After carefully following the nail wrap instructions, I was quite happy with the end result. I found the process to be fairly straightforward and simple. The nail wraps covered my nails easily and neatly, which I was really happy about. I’ve just moved house and didn’t have a nail file on hand to help shape the wraps, so I did find this stage quite tricky, although I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you're more organised than myself right now. I was still able to use a pair of scissors to smoothen the end results but would recommend a nail file for future application.

The Verdict
My overall honest verdict is that these nail wraps are good. I haven't tried any other brand of nail wraps and so I'm not able to compare to others, but as a first time user with no prior experience, I enjoyed the process of Jamberry Nails. The application was simple and smudge-free, my nails looked pretty all week long and it was a lovely way to pamper myself after a busy, working week. I would  have liked the nail wraps to look 'more natural', as it can be a little obvious that I'm wearing a wrap instead of polish, but overall, this product is the perfect solution for anyone with a busy schedule like mine.

I'd be really interested to know if any of you have experienced/ tried Jamberry nail wraps for yourself? I know there are opportunities to become spokespersons for the brand, and I'm becoming more and more aware of the brand across social media, so it's clearly gaining exposure online. Let me know what you think about these nail wraps in the comments below.
More soon,

Helen

  4. I'm like you - as much as I enjoy beauty, I would choose fashion first every time! These nail wraps look great on. I've never actually tried any, but I might now since they seem to be a lot easier to use than I thought! x

if you use the gel kit on top of the wraps they look much much better
jamberry sells that and if really finishes it off. i couldn't wear the wraps without the gel polish. my nails have grown longer than i have ever had them
as with the wrap and two layers of the gel they are quite strong. No fungus that i used to get from acrylics. They last for me about 1.5 weeks.
