Hello Lovelies!
I've been away for a few days at the Scottish music festival, Rockness! I had an amazing time living in a tent, getting drunk and dancing to lots of music right next to Loch Ness, a beautiful location for a festival. The live music was incredible. I managed to see a number of bands including Ed Sheeran (I think I'm in love after watching him perform), Mumford and Sons (one word - wow!), Deadmau5, Friendly Fires, Scottish favourites The View and Biffy Clyro, and many many more. I had such a great time and honestly didn't want to go home so soon, however I did miss my comfy bed, sleeping on rocks for 3 nights wasn't good for my back... I'll post up some Rockness pictures soon!
Anyways, I want to talk to you about this outfit. I bought this dress from H+M a few days ago and really liked it when I tried it on in the changing room. I love the tropical floral pattern on the front. However, somehow the fit was all wrong when I tried it on this morning. Unless my body shape has changed in the last few days, (Rockness was pretty rough...) the dress looked like a potato sack. The material is far too stretchy and clingy on my body, making it quite unflattering. I've shown you the top half of the dress, which looked fine, unlike the bottom. I decided to take it back today and bought a pair of beautiful white converse trainers instead, which are far more practical and flattering for my feet! :) It's always sad when you thought something looked great in the shop changing room, but then it looks completely different at home.
Have any of you had an experience like this?
Helen
